Samuel the Lamanite

So the other night, we were reading scriptures with the kids. We had come to the story of Samuel the Lamanite in the Book of Mormon. I asked them if they remembered what happens and if they could tell me about it before we read it.

Hyrum pipes up and says, "Ya, he's the prophet who stands on the wall and the people try to get him with arrows, but the Lord protects him." Then Gabe adds, "ya and then when they climb up to get Him, he jumps down." Then, all excited Isaac adds "Oh! Ya, I 'member, and then he turns into a Monster!" :)

So cute! Kids say the darndest things; isn't that how the saying goes? ;)
